Kevyn Lilith Hoskin is a visual artist, wax witch, and alternative model currently based on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations otherwise known as Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Starting out in the tattoo industry as just a teenager with her first apprenticeship in her hometown Kelowna, she committed the next 5 years to learning to draw/tattoo and study various aspects of art under original mentors Vince Parsons and Warren Kirschner in professional studios until her early twenties when she suffered wrist injuries + chronic illness onset inhibiting her from continuing tattooing any further.
Unable to hold a machine, or draw at the ability she used to- Kevyn used her magic to continue pursuing any type of craft she could with her new found limitations. This opened a new realm and extended to anything from modelling, photography, painting and more. Today in the span of her 10 year art career Kevyn has been multi published, featured in art shops, attended different conventions and markets vending her wares across the province, and even lead workshops which brought her to conjuring her new path - Liliths Crvft. All pieces are hand crafted with intention in the crypt of Kevyn Lilith.
Though her style, mediums and technique are ever changing and growing; her inspiration drives from the magic of nature and the elements, the cycles of the moon, candle magick, vintage art + antiques, and the darker beauty in life. She can commonly be seen collecting antiques to up-cycle, playing with candles, or out taking photos when the weather is grim.
Finding a way to fuse her love of dark art with her wax work and photography these days she can be seen making surreal one of a kind mixed media pieces carefully curated from fire and the soul. All pieces are made with love, intention, and are ethically sourced.
Sealed with magic. Forged by fire.
